PA teacher strike looms

A teacher strike in the Wattsburg School District could be just days away. The school board and teachers union have until May 16th to reach a new contract. District officials presented educators with a revised agreement late last week. PSEA representative, Marcus Schlegel, says that proposal was worse than all the previous offers.

There are no more talks scheduled between the two parties before next Wednesday's deadline. Schlegel says if the district doesn't come up with a better agreement soon, the 106 teachers are prepared to walk the picket line.
